Why is OneMob making these changes?

OneMob is implementing Material Design, a design language developed by Google, to create an easier and more familiar user experience. This will make OneMob more intuitive and responsive like other apps and websites you visit today. As soon as you try the new OneMob, you will immediately notice a difference. Many of the fundamentals are still there and unchanged, but the design and experience will be seamless and effortless as you navigate the new platform.

There are a few notable changes:

The Library has been completely redesigned and will now contain all content, templates and scripts
Admins and managers can use the new Control Panel to administer the platform, manage users, control branding, measure performance and more
Pages are now Microsites! Microsites are designed to be more modern and generate more actions from your audience. Creating your Microsite will also be simplified with the new page editor.
Links and Emails are now Campaigns! Campaigns are how you share your OneMob videos and content. They can be created in seconds and shared through direct links, email and social platforms.
Contacts has been updated to match the new look and feel

Will I still have access to my previous links and emails?

Yes, all of your links and emails will be converted to campaigns. They will still include all of your content and tracking metrics.

Has the recording process changed?

No, OneMob’s recorders (Webcam, screen recorder, and mobile apps) will stay the same. Click here to refresh yourself on how to record.

Where are my pages?

Pages are now Microsites! Microsites will give you a lot of the functionality you had with pages plus more. And they’ll continue to evolve and be more customizable in the future.

Do I need to edit or convert my pages to Microsites?

Watch this video:

Your pages will convert to the new Microsites automatically. However, it is recommended to check the pages that utilize text boxes and iFrames.

Text that was in text boxes may need to be re-edited and formatted.

If your pages have iFrames…

IFrames have moved within Microsites. You will need to go to the page editor and/or into the campaign and use the sizing tool to make your iFrame active again.

If you’ve ever explored video for your business, then you’ve most likely heard of green screen. This is where you record in front of a literal green screen, then use a video editing software to replace the green screen background with something else. This is used extensively in Hollywood.

But the benefits Hollywood sees are benefits your business can have as well.

1) Control

One of the primary reasons Hollywood directors use green screening is because of control. Green screens allow you to control the look and feel of the shot to ensure the director gets exactly what they intended.

Much can be said with sales and marketing, it’s so important for businesses to control the look and feel of their content and ensure it’s delivered in the best light. With green screening, you can take a mundane video and transform it into something engaging and within the control of branding.

2) Cost

What do you think is cheaper, using green screens to simulate your actors are in Las Vegas or flying your cast and crew to film in Las Vegas? The answer is obvious. Green screens save Hollywood a ton of money when filming and this benefit can be seen in other businesses too.

Imagine you rep wants to make a personal message for a client and they want more than just “Hi FirstName.” Video is a great way to make a message personal, and green screening puts that message on steroids. That same rep can record that video “in front” of their clients’ lobby, office, or LinkedIn profile; the background possibilities are endless. And your reps never need to leave their office or home! All they need is a green screen.

3) Convenience

The final reason is time, which arguably is one of the most valuable resources we have. Trying to weigh effort vs. outcome is always on our mind, and the nice thing about green screening is it’s very convenient once you have one and you have the right tool.

iMovie is one of the easiest video editing tools I’ve ever used, you can literally edit a video on your iPhone. Apple is the master of simplicity. However, applying a green screen is another story, you really have to no what you’re doing and be tech savvy.

That all changed today. OneMob has made green screening as simple as 3 steps:

Record a video in front of a green screen (nothing fancy, can literally be a green screen, sheet or poster)
Upload into OneMob
Pick a video or image background and apply.

Leave a Video, not a Voicemail

As a sales guy, my relationship with my phone is truly love/hate. Don’t get me wrong, nothing is better than making a call and getting the buyer to pick up so you can finally get a straight answer, but the reality is they rarely pick up! In fact, 97% of phone calls go to voicemail and according to InsideSales.com, the average voicemail response rate is 4.8%. The odds are not in our favor.

Let’s face it, people hate unsolicited calls, that’s why you get the voicemail to begin with. And why would you expect the buyer to respond if they never even listen to what you have to say? Sales leaders are always looking to increase call time with their reps, but we think there’s a better way than just cold calling. Email is great because it’s less intrusive than a cold call, but how do you make an email personal and human? The answer is Video!

According to Syndacast, including the word “video” in an email subject line will show the following email improvements:

Boost open rates by 19%.
Boost click-through rates by 65%.
Reduce unsubscribes by 26%.

Video makes your email stand out and provides an opportunity for you to be remembered. Furthermore, video engagement can be tracked, so you can actually KNOW if the message was heard, something you don’t get with voicemails.

So our recommendation is to use phone, email and video together. Instead of leaving a voicemail, record a generic video (leveraging your existing voicemail script). Then when you make the call, if no one picks up, send a video email instead. You’ll be happy with the results.

The following changes were made on January 3rd, 2017:

“Connected to Salesforce” indicator
- Applies to Enterprise, Enterprise Plus, and Trial Users.
- If your OneMob account is connected to Salesforce, it will be indicated by the following icon:
- If your OneMob account is not connected to Salesforce, it will be indicated by the following icon:
  - Click on the icon to connect by logging in with your Salesforce credentials.
  - Furthermore, the following banner will be displayed at the very top of your browser (click to enlarge):

- If your organization does not have the need to connect to Salesforce and wish for the icon and banner to be removed, please contact us at support@onemob.com.

Salesforce auto-sync
- Applies to Enterprise, Enterprise Plus, and Trial Users.
- You must be connected to Salesforce for this feature.
- Auto-sync any newly created contacts on OneMob to SF.
- “Match to Salesforce” checkbox will be replaced by the following message: “All Contacts will automatically be matched to Salesforce Leads or Contacts.”
- The message only appears when the user is connected to Salesforce.
  - I.e., Blank when not connected to Salesforce.

Auto-populate empty fields using Salesforce when new contacts are created
- Applies to Enterprise, Enterprise Plus, and Trial Users.
- You must be connected to Salesforce for this feature.
- When a new contact is created, empty fields (first name, last name, etc.) will be populated by your Salesforce Contact/Lead, if values exists.
- This feature does not update or override any pre-existing fields.
  - E.g., when creating a single contact or multiple contacts via CSV, if you have specified a first name, we will use that name instead of searching in Salesforce.

Auto-populate empty fields for existing contacts using Salesforce when uploading CSV
- Applies to Enterprise, Enterprise Plus, and Trial Users.
- You must be connected to Salesforce for this feature.
- When a CSV is uploaded with pre-existing contacts (i.e., contacts that already exists), empty fields (such as first name, last name, etc.) will be populated by your Salesforce Contact/Lead, if values exists.
- When a CSV is uploaded with pre-existing contacts (i.e., contacts that already exists), fields (such as first name, last name, etc.) with existing values will not be affected.

Landing page name
- Applies to all users.
- Before: In the Landing Page Editor, the landing page name appeared above message box, and between the logo and contact information.
- Now: The name of the landing page will be displayed on the top left corner of the landing page editor, next to the “< Back" button.
- You may now change your landing page name via the Gear Icon > Change Name.

Re-order secondary assets on landing page
- You can now manipulate the order of additional contents you add in the landing page editor. Click + hold the thumbnail, then Drag it over to a different location.

Landing Page/Email Template: “Sort by Edited”
- We’ve added a new sorting option! You can now sort your landing pages and email templates by time they were edited.

Other features you may not be familiar with:

“View on Salesforce” hyperlink
- When a contact is matched to Salesforce, you will find a hyperlink labeled “View on Salesforce” next to the Edit button, like so:

- Clicking on “View on Salesforce” will open a new window to the matching Salesforce Lead/Contact.
- This hyperlink is a foolproof way of confirming your OneMob activities will be tracked back to Salesforce.
- If you do not see this hyperlink on one or more of your contacts and would like to map your contact(s) to Salesforce, upload the email address via CSV.

Universal Signatures
Improved Create Link
Sharing Player Pages

Universal Signatures allows you to add a custom signature that’s appended to your email every time you send it from the OneMob Web App or Salesforce package. Here’s a quick video on how it works.

Improved Create Link takes the effort and guesswork on whether you copied the right image/link to share. We have now streamlined the experience, so you can easily generate a link, click “Copy Link and Image” and then paste to any email client or html editor. It’s SO EASY! Here’s a quick video on how it works.

Sharing Player Pages allows you to quickly share or use a shared player page. A player page is the video landing page that you can customize for your recipients by adding a custom message, call-to-action button, response form or embed other assets like documents and forms. All of this compliments the video you’re sending and helps complete the story you’re sharing with your audience. Here’s a quick video on how it works.

Outlook users, we have good news for you! OneMob for Microsoft Outlook 365 and Outlook Client 2013 and 2016 is available now.

With the OneMob for Outlook app, you can access all your saved video and voice messages right inside Outlook and easily embed them in your email messages. 3 Ways to Better Engage, Right On the Page

Last year, we gave you all our best practices for creating and using video, which became an essential part of digital marketing in 2015. But we know that 2016 isn’t the year to start using video in your outreach- it’s the year to start engaging with and measuring its impact. Whether they be personal recordings or high quality productions doesn’t matter, since v ideo is already the most engaging form of content. What matters is how your viewers interact with your videos, beyond just a watch.

In the past, we’ve looked to views and watches to determine a video’s success. However, number of views is becoming more of an irrelevant metric, since watches don’t truly help you gauge the level of a viewer’s interest. What you need to know is if your videos are generating responses. Does your audience follow your call to action, register for your event or download a piece of content, and more importantly, have you given them the means to easily do so? That’s why we’ve created Engagement Pages, or customizable landing pages to host not your videos, but your other digital content. By combining multiple digital components onto one page, you not only create a viewing experience unique to you/your brand, but an interactive one as well that furthers interest and inspires action. So here are 3 parts of the OneMob player page that will help turn your watches into meaningful responses.

1) Response Form:

Tried and true, the response form is your viewers’ direct line to you. We’re all about giving you choices here at OneMob. Whether it’s in-app, through Salesforce, on social or by email, we let you send your videos however you like. With the addition of our new Gmail plugin, you can send videos to any of your SFDC leads and contacts directly from your Gmail account.

Using other plugins and extensions? No problem. Add videos to your favorite templates and send as usual, with all the viewing activity written back to your Salesforce account.

Say it Back! Introducing Video Reply

Since we’re all about video here at OneMob, it only makes sense that it be part of our entire experience. That’s why we’re excited to announce our newest feature- video reply.

In this latest update, after you send a OneMob to your recipient(s), they can now reply with a video message back! This makes the entire experience personal and engaging. It’s simple, the recipient will see a new button Add Video Reply, and after clicking this they can record using their web or mobile camera depending on their device. The video message will be included with the response when the recipient clicks Send. If they’re camera shy, no problem; plain text replies can still be sent on their own.

Why video reply? By giving recipients the option, its opens up video communication to both parties. And since recipients will be so impressed with your videos, you can expect increased and better quality responses.

As the weather’s heating up, so are our offerings. Today, we’d like to introduce you to the new OneMob Web App.

Let’s take a look at what’s new.

Record From Your Web Cam: The wait is over! Now you can record personal, company-branded and trackable videos directly from your web cam.

Upload and Track Existing Videos: But what about your existing videos? Now you can use the OneMob platform to send and track those too! Upload and send any video (e.g., demos, training videos, product announcements, etc.) so you can know who’s watching with real-time notifications and activity tracked in Salesforce.

Send Videos From Anywhere: All your OneMob videos are now synced and can be sent from anywhere: the Web App, iOS mobile device and Salesforce.

Personal and Team Dashboards: Easy to read charts and graphs give insight into your OneMob activity and how you’re measuring up with your team. See how many videos you’ve sent and trends in overall prospect/customer engagement like opens, plays and responses.

OneMob Dashboard – Who’s Moving the Needle?

Numbers are a critical component when it comes to sales and forecasting, there’s simply no escaping it. As a rep, manager or executive in your organization, it’s important for you to get accurate insight into activities (input) and results (output). That’s why we created a dashboard to deliver this information to you. Check it out at www.onemob.com/dashboard from any browser on any device (you will be prompted to log in with your Salesforce credentials).

The dashboard offers a bird’s-eye view and detailed stats of your personal OneMob activity, as well as your team’s activity so you can see how you’re measuring up. The stats are broken up into easily digestible graphs and nuggets, so don’t be intimidated… no head scratching required (sample screenshots above and below).

Check your dashboard regularly to measure OneMob engagement such as total messages created, sent, played and responded to, as well as unique play and response rates (just to name a few of the stats available). You can also see all recent activity of your messages: who last opened/played/responded to your message and when, so you can follow up promptly. Happy Selling!
