The OneMob composer opens inside Zoho CRM, so you can pick a microsite, write one or more email steps and send them to the people on a Zoho record without switching apps. OneMob tracks every open, view and click, and logs the activity back to Zoho.
Before you start
- Your organization's OneMob plan includes CRM integration, and your OneMob admin has selected Zoho as the organization's CRM.
- A Zoho admin has installed the OneMob extension in Zoho CRM. For both setup steps, see Zoho Integration.
- You sign in to Zoho with the same email address you use for OneMob. The composer finds your OneMob account by that address.
Send an email from a Zoho record
- In Zoho CRM, open the lead, contact or deal you want to email.
- Open the OneMob composer from the record. The Select microsite screen opens.
- Find the microsite you want to send. Use search, sorting and tags to narrow the list, or click New microsite to create one.
- Select the microsite and click Next. The Send email screen opens with a first step already filled in from the microsite and its email template.
- Click the Recipients field to review who receives the email. The list shows the people on the Zoho record. Select the ones you want and click Save Recipients.
- Edit the subject and body of each step under Steps. To start from one of your email templates, apply a template to the step, choose it on the Pick email template screen and click Add template.
- Optional: use the AI panel on the left to draft or refine your steps. The steps it generates replace the ones in the editor.
- Click Test all steps to send yourself a test of every step.
- Click Send now. To send later, click the clock button next to it, pick a date and time, and click Schedule.
What happens next
The composer shows Emails successfully sent or Emails successfully scheduled. OneMob creates a campaign for the send, named CRM followed by the time you sent it, and tracks opens, microsite views and clicks for each recipient. When a recipient belongs to a Zoho deal, the activity is linked to that deal.
If something does not work
- User does not exist or not connected to Zoho CRM: the email address you use in Zoho does not match a OneMob account, your OneMob plan does not include CRM integration, or Zoho is not selected as your organization's CRM. Ask your OneMob admin to check.
- Max recipients amount is followed by a number: you selected more recipients than your plan allows in one send. Remove some recipients and send the rest separately.
- Send now is unavailable: add at least one recipient.
For anything else, send a request to the OneMob support team.
