Teams & Admin

Admins, Managers, Basic Users | What's the Difference?

OneMob has three user roles. Administrators manage the whole organization, Managers oversee their own teams, and Basic Users create and share content. Use this page to check what each role can do.

Metrics

Administrators and Managers can:

  • See an overview of organization or team performance.
  • View content, user and microsite performance.
  • Export metrics data to CSV.

Administrators see data for the entire organization. Managers see data for their own teams only. Basic Users do not have access to the Metrics dashboard.

Admin

Only Administrators can use the Admin area. From there they can:

  • Organization: set branding and the privacy policy.
  • Users: add or remove users from OneMob contracts, assign users to teams, give admin or manager privileges, and edit user profile settings.
  • Content: edit organization-wide content, and add or remove content from the shared library.
  • Subscription: manage the OneMob subscription status (Free and Pro only).
  • Settings: set default preferences for all users, set the default CRM, enable SMTP, and manage custom fields for users.
  • Watermarks, tags and themes: add or remove organization-wide watermarks, tags and microsite themes (colors and banners).
  • Teams: create or delete teams, and add or remove users from teams.

Approvals

Administrators and Managers can approve or reject content that users send for review. Administrators review content from the entire organization; Managers review content from their own teams.

Change a user's role

Administrators assign roles from Admin > Users. See Administrator's Control Panel | Overview.
