Deploy lets admins and managers send one microsite template to many users at once. OneMob creates a separate microsite for each user you choose, and can also publish a social post or start an email campaign on their behalf, so your whole team shares the same content while you track the results in one place. Here's a video demonstration.
Before you start
- Create a microsite template, or save a microsite as a template in the microsite editor.
- Make sure you are an admin or a manager. Managers can deploy only to users on the teams they manage.
Choose a deployment mode
- Open Deploys.
- Click New deploy.
- Optional: rename the deploy in the title at the top of the window. Each user's microsite is named after the deploy.
- Under Select deployment mode, choose one of the modes below.
- Click Continue.
- Microsite only: creates a microsite from the template for each user.
- Microsite + Social Post: creates the microsite and publishes a post with its link to the user's LinkedIn or YouTube account. Choose the platform on the card.
- Microsite + Campaign: creates the microsite and an email campaign that each user sends to their recipients. Turn on Deploy to Drafts to save the campaign to each user's drafts instead of sending it. This mode is available only when your account includes email campaigns.
Add users
The Users step comes first in every mode, and you cannot deploy without at least one user. OneMob creates one microsite per user.
- In the Users step, click Add.
- For Microsite only and Microsite + Social Post, choose the users and teams to deploy to.
- For Microsite + Campaign, upload a CSV file with the users and their recipients. With Deploy to Drafts on, you can instead choose Add Users and Teams or Upload CSV.
- Check the Status column. Click Refresh after you fix a user's setup, or select users and click Remove.
- Click Next.
Select the microsite template
- In the Microsite step, click Select template and choose your microsite template.
- Optional: click Change template to pick a different one, or Edit template to open it in a new tab.
- For Microsite + Social Post or Microsite + Campaign, click Next.
Write the post or the message
- Post step (Microsite + Social Post): write the text of the social post. Keep the {{microsite_url}} placeholder in the text where each user's microsite link should appear.
- Message step (Microsite + Campaign): write the campaign emails. You can add steps, apply a saved email template, save your message as a template and personalize it with custom fields.
Notify the users you deploy to
In every deployment mode you can email each user that a microsite, social post or campaign was created for them. Notifications are off until you turn them on.
- In the deploy window, click Notify users in the top-right corner.
- Turn on Notify users by email.
- Optional: write a message in Notification text (optional). It appears at the top of the email.
- Click Done.
The Notify users button shows a check mark while notifications are on. When the deploy finishes, each user receives an email from the OneMob Team that names you and links to their new microsite or campaign.
Deploy or schedule
- On the last step, click Deploy in the top-right corner.
- To send later, click the clock button next to it, pick a date and time, then click Schedule deploy.
- If Some users are not ready appears, click Proceed to deploy to the users who are ready, or Cancel to fix the others first.
If you close the window before you deploy, OneMob saves the deploy as a draft. You find it in the Drafts tab of Deploys.
Track the results
After you deploy, OneMob opens the deploy's details page. You can return to it anytime from the Deployed tab of Deploys; scheduled deploys are in the Scheduled tab.
- Users: each user, their deploy status and how many viewers Viewed, Engaged and Converted. For a campaign you also see Campaign status, Emails batch and Opened. Click a user to see their details.
- Leads: the people who visited the deployed microsites.
- Emails: the campaign emails, for Microsite + Campaign deploys.
Troubleshooting
A user who is not ready is skipped when you deploy. The Status column in the Users step shows why:
- User has no suitable license: the user's plan does not include deployed microsites.
- Mailbox not connected: for a campaign, the user must connect their email account first.
- Recipients limit exceeded: the user has more campaign recipients than their plan allows.
- LinkedIn not connected or YouTube not connected: for a social post, the user must connect that account first.
- You can not manage this user: managers can deploy only to users on the teams they manage.
Once the user fixes the issue, click Refresh in the Users step.
Quick tip
Use a consistent naming convention for your deploys so they are easy to find later, for example "[Purpose or Campaign] - [Date] - [Type]", such as "Deploy template test - 29 Aug 2025 - Microsite". Each user's microsite takes the deploy name followed by "- Microsite".
